ILOILO CITY, Nov. 12 - Twenty-eight small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Western Visayas have joined the five-day Visayas-wide One Town-One Product (OTOP) Fair that kicked off in Cebu City Wednesday.

Trade and Industry regional director Dominic Abad who heads the delegation, said with this year's showcase of best products, they are looking forward to positioning OTOP for sub-contracting and getting orders to help sustain the production.
DTI information officer III Ruby Melliza said of the 28 SMEs, five are from Guimaras; four from Aklan; three from Capiz and two from Antique.
The provinces of Iloilo and Negros Occidental each sent seven SME-participants.
'Products for sale are gifts and housewares, furniture and furnishings, souvenir items, fashion accessories, footwear and fashion accessories, bags and baskets, processed foods, delicacies, and a lot more,' she said


Carolyn was a staunch and faithful friend of Lois and did volunteer work in her church and community. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Associations of Wisconsin Rapids and Wisconsin, and a member of the Eastern Star, serving twice as an officer. She refinished the many beautiful antique furniture pieces that filled her home, knitted, and was an avid reader and bridge player. Carolyn accompanied Jim in his 17 years of fundraising travel for the White Shrine and, over decades, on genealogy-related travel, research and quests. In their retirement years they traveled extensively throughout the U.S
