Pre-parade activities at the VA begin at 10 a.m. with a live concert of big-band music by the John Hafer Octet.
In addition, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's United States Air Force ROTC cadets will conclude their 24-hour flag vigil just before the parade's beginning scheduled for 11 a.m.

The parade's theme this year is 'A Grateful Nation Salutes a New Generation of Veterans.'
Cimorelli said about 60 floats and entries have signed up including the Prescott and the Bradshaw Mountain high school marching bands, the award-winning Marine Corps ROTC Drill Team from Kearny, Ariz., and the Prescott Antique Auto Club.
Officials will give a free American flag to the first 500 children. VA volunteers will have a food court with hot dogs, soda, popcorn, cotton candy and other food items.
There is no charge for admission and the Va encourages the community to attend, Cimorelli said. Visitors should enter the grounds from Highway 89 and follow the parking signs.
