Judy Smith is chairing a 2010 Raffle Quilt Project, for which four patterns were submitted. Patterns will be selected at next meeting. President Barbara Schnurr presented the church with five quilts and one crocheted quilt for 'Project Linus,' an organization named for the Peanuts comic strip character which provides security through blankets. Baby quilts will be collected and presented to local hospitals next month. Future programs include the 'Magic Vine' quilt, an applique project. Also on tap is a program about Jane Stickel, a Civil War-era quilter who crafted an antique quilt with four-inch blocks. Books on this quilt will be ordered at the next meeting. Plans were finalized for the Christmas party. It will be held at the next meeting, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m
